One of the most suspenseful documentaries ever made, "The Cove" marries ecological espionage to a frightening domino effect of imperialism, political corruption and a socio-environmental disregard.

The Japanese should be ashamed of themselves. There is simply no justification for what they're doing. Dolphins are such majestic, smart creatures and they're basically killing them for the heck of it. Their meat is literally poisonous and they're slowly mass murdering thousands of people by purposely mislabeling dolphin meat to sell it as something else. So, yeah the fishermen of that little Japanese village, with apparently the Government's support, are not only slaughtering dolphins but also consciously poisoning their fellow country men (and potentially people from other countries). I have no words.

"Right now, I'm focusing on that one little body of water, where that slaughter takes place. If we can't stop that, if we can't fix that, forget about the bigger issues."

The Cove is just a brutal, brutal documentary. The way these monsters catch/slaughter these dolphins is just even worse then you can see in any horror movie.

The Cove opens your eyes even furthers and to think that more then a decade later this still happens. I think that we as humankind will never truly change.

A must watch. (But a tough watch)
