It's all about the atmosphere here, so don't expect ghosts, monsters etc. I'm not really sure how I feel about this movie. I mean, I can't say it was bad 'cause it wasn't, but it just didn't really feel like a horror movie to me. It felt more like a thriller and I was disappointed by that. I suppose it works on his own and it did have some nice tension scenes, but if you are looking for scares you won't find them here.

wow this one awesome! i need to watch it again. great atmosphere, superb soundtrack and some really cool visuals. its not your everyday typical horrormovie.

for everyone who likes it, try Bliss (2019) it kinda remembered me of this (https://trakt.tv/movies/bliss-2019)

Short but sweet horror, much better than the generic trash I expected. Disturbing flick really gets under your skin, despite the erratic plotting.

Although this is a largely predictable horror film, it does have some good moments and looks very nice. It reminded me why horror is a genre I don't delve too deeply into, it is nothing new or interesting. Having said that, I'm convinced Sean Byrne has a realy good film up his sleeve. 5.5/10

This was way better than I expected. It actually made me feel things. Plus, Ethan Embrys’s transformation is so impressive. He’s practically unrecognizable.

Better than a lot that I've seen lately.
Solid performances all around from the whole cast.

It is more moody than gory, but I think the one stand out for me is the audio. The actors performances during pivotal scenes lends a lot to the atmosphere as does the soundtrack.

Definitely recommend listening on quality audio gear for this one.

The movie kept my attention while being a simple and tame horror.

I love stumbling across horror movies. Most of the time it is an exercise in futility but this was truly a gen.

Solid movie for the genre. Nothing too intense, not an entirely groundbreaking plot, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I also thought it was the perfect length. Too often you see movies with padded scenes just to make it to 90 minutes. Sometimes you need a short movie.

This flew over my radar and I'm happy to say this is an intense and a very solid film recommended to anyone into the genre. Good cast, story and pacing. Not very gory but it's dark and chilling allright.

An indie horror film with heavy metal in a supporting role? Devil's Candy is pretty sweet.
