One of the worst horror movies I've seen in a while.

Great movie if you want to waste your time properly.

Holy moly was this overlong and pretentious, at least 1000 corpses had something of an aesthetic going for it with white makeup and strange creatures and burlesque vaudeville vibes, this was just yellow tone slow mo generic bs with characters he clearly doesn't understand doing random actions against random people just biding time until the inevitable predictable car shoot out ending. For instance, why are they in pain when they get stapled and nailed when they should be coming in pleasure? What even is their motivation for anything they do? These were my first 2 zombie flicks and i guess i won't continue with him especially since that annoying bimbo is in every single one. Maybe I'm so mad cuz i wanted gothy movies and neither qualify.
However, the most egregious crime, this movie leaves out the man who started it all, the myth, the legend: --xoxDr. Satan666xoxo--_ :heartpulse: who is clearly just too cool for this mess.

Emotional, meanspirited, heartfelt, and brutal all at once. Great imagery, great soundtrack, great set pieces. [spoiler]The closing bridge shootout sequence set to free bird is some of the most kino shit I've seen in my entire life.[/spoiler] Anytime someone says Rob Zombie is a bad filmmaker simply point them to this one picture.

Like sex with a garbage disposal, you better know what you're getting into before you settle in and get started.

Rob Zombie (one of my favorite directors and musicians) delivers a pure 1970s skinned-raw, grindhouse, low budget, torture porn 35mm horror movie experience.

Not for the weak of anything.

I put off watching this because House of 1000 Corpses was just...lame. in comparison, this was so much better. Overall, I've seen much worse. It was just entirely too predictable and pointless.
