To watch the 2 movies, definitely watch Him first. Contrary to popular belief, I liked Him a lot more than Her. Him has a much more focused and coherent story. It's simply interesting. Surprisingly all the actors that I love are in Her, but it was very unfocused and uninteresting. I go as far as saying you can watch Him and no need to watch Her. I really enjoyed Him.

This movie is proof talented actors can elevate good materiel, but they can't make a bad one better. As much as I love Jessica and her performance is great throughout, the slow pace here killed any enjoyment I could've had watching it.

And I don't know what this says about me, but I felt more sympathetic towards Conor in **Him**. They both shared the same loss, but I always find the ones who put on a brave face and try to move on and find their way back more interesting to watch.

This was an interesting premise - to have two movie tell the same story from two different perspectives: Her and Him, and then the producer insisted on a third composite: Them - but the story of the erosion of a marriage after a tragic incident couldn't support the finite examination, it bleed out into a tedious demise. Jessica Chastain and James MacAvoy (with an American accent) gave us well articulated characters, as you would expect from them, but the pace of the story telling and its excruciating slow resolution is challenged to hold its audience once, let alone three times. I watched the three movies in this order: Her to which I gave a 7 (good) out of 10, Him a 6 (fair) out of 10 - and finally, Them (only under a self imposed obligation to give them all a fair critique), which I gave a 5 (meh) out of 10.
