"Quando acaba, acaba."

I saw it as a series and not as a movie, divided into 4 episodes (arches).

The photography is excellent, probably the best of the film.

The script in the first arches is situated at the end of the Estado Novo, always from the perspective of a farm owner in Alentejo. With the 25th of April (in Portugal) most of the farms were nationalized and this is represented in the film (something that is little talked about, on post 25th of April).
In the 3rd arch are "Os Maias", by Eça de Queiroz.
And it ends on the 4th with an okay.
In the 4th Arc it could have ended in an incredible way, however it was not so. (In my opinion it should have ended the way it began, in the tree.)
The discussion after dinner could have been the highlight of the film, but neither was it.
Honestly, **the script** and some situations in the production and directing, devalue the film and my evaluation.

Huge Albano Gerónimo, the carry.
Super negative point is the sound, how awful. Very, very bad.
