I really, really enjoyed Tyne Daly as Inspector Moore! She really fits next to Harry. The way she ran around with the bag was hilarious during that rooftop chase scene. Or how she burst onto the scene after Calahan already has the suspect down. Lovely stuff.

I also really enjoyed the scenes at Alcatraz and the ending was hilarious. But all in all the third entry still isn't as strong as the two that came before. Nonetheless it is a very entertaining movie. Really marvelous.

I liked this better than Magnum Force.
Tyne Daly is great as Inspector Kate Moore. She evokes the naivety of a rookie, the steeliness of someone determined to be seen as an equal perfectly and adds a wee bit of humour into the mix as well.
The "baddies" are nowhere near as good as the previous two movies though and I couldn't have cared less about the fate of the mayor.

Not as enjoyable as the first two, but 'The Enforcer' still entertains.

Clint Eastwood is again excellent in reprising the role of Harry Callahan, while the support cast is spearheaded by the likes of Tyne Daly and Harry Guardino. I don't really have much to say that's different from the 1971 and 1973 films, in that it's a fun flick that is paced well; even if, again, it is a drop from its two predecessors.

With Sudden Impact, vying for the worst of the Dirty Harry films. Mostly dull and the villains were, eh, far out. Just not worth the time.

Formula thriller plenty of action , crisply edition , tension, suspenseful and lots of violence . Appropriate and atmospheric musical score. Less effective than ¨Dirty Harry¨ but still gripping and stirring .

The Enforcer is the third film for Dirty Harry and a lesser movie than the first two. It has a boring story where these uninteresting villains posing as a terrorist group kidnap the mayor and ransom him for money. I just did not care for them at all. They even manage to break into a warehouse full of weapons that seemed to be guarded by like one person. Harry is the same old tough nut that he has been, but this time he has to deal with a female partner that he believes is incompetent. They have their moments and their partnership was the best thing in the movie. Some of the looks he gave her, especially the one in the barbershop with the badge was pretty funny to me, The pacing I felt was lacking here. We have the usual crime that Harry stops near the start of the film which while not necessary can be fun. I just wish their was more action in between. That foot chase sequence went on for far too long. Not terrible but a big step down in the series for sure.
