Labelled as the penultimate epic final entry to the movies in the franchise featuring Damien but ends up being it's downfall. Sam Neill as Damien Thorn is perfect in the role and I like the outcome of his character, he's interesting but the movie he's in is mediocre. So slow, uninteresting story and the kills we got aren't bad but they're not at the heights of the first two movies. We focus on some weird stuff here, scenes that don't matter—bad direction all around! How is it possible to make a movie about the antichrist taking over the world boring?! Not a fan of the third act or ending. Couldn't wait for it to end.

The Omen Trilogy comes to its climactic (and inevitable) conclusion in _The Final Conflict_. As his seven year reign nears its end Damien Thorn becomes obsessed with averting the second coming of Christ; meanwhile a secret order of priests acquires the Daggers of Megiddo in order to kill Damien. This final battle between good and evil is surprisingly tame, yet it maintains the ominous and suspenseful tone that has come to define the series. And, the film’s take on biblical prophecy proves to be quite interesting. Additionally, Sam Neill gives an impressive performance as Damien, providing a commanding villain. A chilling and atmospheric thriller, _The Final Conflict_ provides a fitting end to the series.

I am not much of a fan of Sam Neill at the best of times, and he really did not possess the skills to be menacing at all here. Still, this is way better than the second in the trilogy. Now running his huge "Thorn" conglomerate, "Damien" sets out to thwart the newly born Nazarine baby whom, together More

Sam Neill was great, even with some of the cheesier dialogue, as Damien. Feels a bit of an underwhelming conclusion to a trilogy but still was entertaining in a shocking way, going places not many films go... **3.0/5**
