The progression of my face during "dat ending": ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) → (⚆ _ ⚆) → ( ಠ_ಠ) → (ಥ﹏ಥ) → (ಠ▃ಠ) → ┬──┬ ノ( ゜-゜ノ) → (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ I'm still left in shock... I can't honestly say more about it than that in fear of spoiling it. It was a pretty nice and interesting take on the zombie movie genre and definitely something a little bit different (especially with that ending). Not sure how I feel about the movie as a whole so I'm gonna wait to fully digest it and let the ending settle in before a final rating. Probably a 7/10.

Another version of people running around attempting to find essential supplies and avoid zombie infection. Zombie plots are zombie plots... nothing fresh here, except that apparently Glenn Close is having difficulty getting memorable acting gigs. A new season of "Damages" would be much more enjoyable than yet another zombie production.

A refreshing take on the zombie genre. A remarkable similarity in theme to the PS4 game The Last of Us, the landscape to the film is one of devastation and disease. I don't want to spoil anything in the film so will leave story details absent. However, be prepared for a heart wrenching tale that will make you question yourself should you be in the scenario of the characters in the film. This film has all the gifts - acting, directing, story, music - and then some.

Remember _Ex Machina_ from last year? Yeah, this is that movie's Zombie-counterpart of 2016. Some people will watch it, everyone will like it, no one will talk about it. It has great acting, lovable characters, and it's exploring a concept that's been done many times, in a different and special way.

It felt like it was going somewhere at first, until it started to stumble over its own concept and collapse into a ditch where it soon died and rotted away. This is an example of a movie that was too smart for its own good.
