I always enjoy a Hammer film from the 60's! There is something about those films that I always enjoy! This time they use the Greek Mythology about Gorgons. I always thought they were called Madusa's! Anyway, we get kind of a mystery film with great performances. We also have our Hammer legends in Peter Cushing and Christoper Lee! It is always nice to see these two square off! Even if it is only for a few moments!

Anyway, this one is also directed by Hammer legend Terence Fisher! This might not be his best work but still, you can see his hand clearly as this film is beautifully shot! And somehow I always enjoy those damn colors! Also ANGRY TOWNS PEOPLE! They show up a lot in Hammer films don't they?

So yeah! You can't go wrong with this Hammer Horror film! If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check it out! It will only take you 84 minutes! And I bet you'll enjoy it!

It's always a blast to watch Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee together, even if their screen time is limited. I didn't know what to expect while watching this, well other than not expecting to get creeped out, which actually happened when we get our first glimpse of the Gorgon lurking in the shadows of an old castle.

The movie does crawl along but that's not out of the ordinary with Hammer films. The ending is far from surprising but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with it. Christopher Lee is the highlight here.

Fun little hammer horror. Classic Monster movie thrills with Cushing and Lee. Good for a midnight movie.

OK mid 60s Hammer flick. Cushing & Lee are the clear highlights.

Considering it clocks in at under 90 minutes, the pacing of _The Gorgon_ is pretty glacial. It's watchable because of the presence of the Hammer Horror greats Cushing and Lee but it's not one that's worth a revisit once you've seen it.
