This story can be crazy and ridiculous at some points but the message that it tries to pass through is very important. Nature and polution. Plants are tired of humans polluting the world so they start to release toxins that lead humans to kill themselves. Yes, it's strange and pretty much nonsense. But looking at it on the other way it's at least a different story about the global warming than the usual stuff we are used to see.
It's full of suspense and some of the scenes were people are killing themselves are so creepy and chilling. The feeling of fear it's in the air.
I think the thing that didn't worked well for me was Mark Wahlberg, he can't convince me. I don't think he is a good actor and because of that I can't say if it was supposed to him to play a crazy character like that or if it's just him that is bad.

I waited 10 years to watch this because everyone said it was awful. Not a bad flick after all. If you like Stephen King or M. Night Shyamalan then you might like this.

If anyone ever asks me what the worst movie I've ever seen is, I quickly and easily tell them that it is this movie. I actually saw it in theaters and left the theater absolutely stunned at how awful it was.

I LOVE the movie. Funny as fuck! Take an interest in science.

I know this movie have some problems. But i always enjoyed it when i watched the movie. I think the movie is underrated here.

I watch this after 12 years since everyone seems to hate this movie... but finally decided to watch it... now it does have many mistakes and stuff... maybe my expectations where really low cause I actually enjoy this movie... social distancing to survive? Over populated planet? Ring any bells?

But seriously it's not as bad as it's reputation. It's not good by any means but not the worst movie ever.

this really show you a different perspective on how the Earth or Mother Nature is doing it's work to rid the problems.

It's like a Stephen King story but with a lack of his brilliance. As well as many bad lines. M. Night Shyamalan's robotic performances he gets out of his cast is pretty bad too.

Defiantly one of the better American movies there’s been for a very long time. Instead of repeating tired old tropes as usual, this is all original and keeps you gripped from beginning to end with a fascinating storyline. Unsure of why the bad reviews, but maybe these people just want tried and tested old plots to keep them entertained, and just don’t want something new. Strange but true, enjoy.

There were some very visually shocking moments and I thought the score was very "Twilight Zone"-ish; both good things. There was no "twist" or shock ending in the story which I have come to love about M. Night Shyamalan's films. Mark Wahlberg John Leguizamo and Zooey Deschanel were boring and the little girl who played Jess was awful.

this feels a bit like a parody of horror films at times and because of that it's hard to know whether i'm supposed to be taking it seriously or not at any given moment. but it's definitely entertaining. knowing the cast can actually act (sometimes.....) and that m night shyamalan can do great things directorially (sometimes) makes me think that maybe everyone just had fun being ridiculous with this movie in the production phase and the result is a quirky, melodramatic horror.

love that these people couldn't manage to socially distance effectively at all - i think watching this in 2021 made it a lot funnier to see people screaming about needing to avoid large groups while also saying not to split up or get separated.

so bad it's good. I'm going to go buy some "superfluous cough syrup" ;)
