In this film Judy Garland plays a bit of a mail order bride. After exchanging romantic letters with a man she moves out to the wild west to marry him only to find out that he's a bumpkin who paid someone else to write those letters. So who had she really fallen in love with in those letters? Now, all alone in the rough west, she joins the Harvey girls who arrived at the same time. While this isn't numbered among the best of Garland's films, it a fun movie with good music.
