I know it's just an action comedy, but why couldn't they be a little more careful with the script? It really annoys me.

No. No way. Just no.
Hearsay is when you _hear_ somebody _say_ something (you can't testify on behalf of another person). It's not hearsay if you're a motherforking direct witness and one of the victims!!

Well... if you don't need to, then don't do it!

Yeah, right. Because if they had arrived 5 seconds later, they wouldn't have let him testify against the genocide criminal. I mean, you're 5 seconds late, it's the law, right?

Oh well. In retrospect I think I've been nitpicking too much. The hearsay thing was nothing compared to this! They could have said Dropbox. My email. Youtube. This website. But no. FTP site Raven 247. Probably the most stupid computer thing I've heard since... I dunno, Swordfish, back in 2001?

Anyway. Other than the obviously predictable plot, and the really stupid bits (seriously, FTP site Raven... ouch!), it was a very enjoyable movie. Lots of crazy action scenes, pretty funny too, and a 5 stars cast. Well, 4 stars actually: Samuel L. Jackson, Ryan Reynolds, Gary Oldman and Salma Hayek.
