Despite the title, not one drop of blood is seen in the entire movie.

1) Denholm Elliott (horror writer) - 5/10.
2) Peter Cushing (horror museum) - 5.5/10.
3) Christopher Lee (witchcraft) - 7/10.
4) Jon Pertwee (horror actor) - 8/10.
Intertwining story - 7/10.

The stories get better as they go on and the intertwining story is good. Each one has a big name actor playing the lead role. The last one about an actor that’s starred in over 100 horror films and lusts realism on the film set is the best.

An anthology I'd never seen, I like this Amicus production quite a bit. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee both have their own stories here but do not appear together. They are of course, great in their roles and are a joy to watch.

Of all of the segments, I like the first one about the strangler the most. It's shot well and there are a lot of scary, shadowy glimpses of the strangler...or is it just the writer's imagination?

In the final segment, the main character, who plays a Horror actor, praises Lugosi's Dracula stating that he likes "the first one...not that new guy". The joke at Christopher Lee's expense is easy to miss if you're not paying attention, but it's a classic line.

Good stuff, classic English horror and country sides done in the 70’s, with Lee and Cushing. These stories are creepy and fun when horror was less gruesome by special effects and CGI. The current day slasher movies don’t have class like this.
