Remember when you watched _2012, San Andreas, Geostorm, The Day After Tomorrow_ and you wished there had been more action? Well, _Hurricane Heist_ is the first disaster film where you'll wish there was **less** because what they have here is so cringe-worthy it feels like watching your parents have sex: yes, it's action but my lord, no one should have to witness something that awful.

The CGI is from the 1970s, before it existed, with rain that looks hand-drawn and special effects made with a Snapchat filter. There is enough WTF in this film to sink a small island and the only thing more predictable than the story is how much you're gong to hate this film should you see it.

_Hurricane Heist_ is nothing more than a storm in a teacup. Watch _Twister_ again, instead.

Fast, furious and very windy. The movie is completely preposterous, but take it as a piece of dumb escapism and you might gain some enjoyment from it.

It's not good but you should expect that if you saw the trailer (or even just the name). I still can't believe that this got a theatrical release. Everything about this movie screams straight to vod. Everything is mediocre (at best), the action, the effects, the story, the acting, nothing is special about this movie. So many things don't make sense but this isn't the type of movie I'm going to question. And it has some of the worst southern accents I've ever heard. Also we never heard Rock You Like a Hurricane by Scorpions and that the most disappointing thing about this movie.

Worth a watch at least once.

It was mindless and OTT, the acting was average and some of the CGI was subpar. But did I enjoy it? Yeah, I did! It was aggressive and action-packed from the get go. Not much to it in the sense of a storyline, but it’s not the worst way to spend 90 minutes.

Now those are some horrible southern accents from foreign actors. Kinda ruined the whole thing.

The Dominator is the real star here. I want one. ): I don’t know why there’s hate in the comments. I actually enjoyed this movie.

'The Hurricane Heist' is an OK disaster film but is majorly let down by the up and down special effects and largely plain acting. I did enjoy the ending, which is very 'The Fast and the Furious'-esque - little surprise to learn that Rob Cohen directs both.

Cast-wise it's underwhelming. Maggie Grace (Casey) is the standout, it's cool to see her in something other than 'Taken'. Toby Kebbell (Will) is the best of the rest, though he and the others are pretty dull. Better onscreen talent needed.

The overall story is alright, even with its clunky twists. The effects, as noted, are lame for the majority but one or two scenes look decent. It could've been a lot worse, the third act certainly improves my feelings towards this film.

A dumb fun movie to watch when you are bored at home. It’s a bit like Hard Rain with Christian Slater and Morgan Freeman. Maggie Grace does most of the ass kicking.

It's Sharknado without the sharks, directed by the guy who did the original The Fast And The Furious... shame. That's all I've got to say, no one saw this movie any-ways, probably no one cares about this "review." I must say, the amount of continuity errors in the final chase scene, which is proudly displayed on the poster, is off the charts. The whole finale happens in the eye of the hurricane, that means the storm clouds should be encapsulating on all sides. However, because the dozen or so studios who financed this hurricane-scale proportions of a mess must've run out of budget money, the effects are clearly missing for over half the shots. Any shot that shows ahead of the truck, not behind, the cloud wave is missing. I suppose they assumed any braindead audience members just wouldn't care? In any circumstance, it's an unforgivable over-sight. It's unfortunate the entire movie is not stupid enough to be an enjoyable disaster. I'd rather sit through another real hurricane, infinitely more entertaining.
