Like going to the toilet, you know exactly what's going to happen and the end result stinks. (And if I've made that crack before, it'll just mean it's as hackneyed as _The Hustle_.) :poop: There are two sorts of jokes in _The Hustle_, the original jokes which are terribly unfunny, and the cliché, recycled jokes which weren't even funny when they were original. :sob: This is the worst slapstick I've seen since the offal _Dinner for Schmucks_ (though at least, unlike _Dinner_..., _The Hustle_ didn't have to butcher an amazing French comedy in the process). I'm probably not the first critic to say this but I'm certainly the worst, the real swindle in _The Hustle_ is getting people to pay to see it!

Better than the original if you ask me. Not least because of the extraordinary Anne Hathaway. Minus a few details it is the same as the original - The cons are different (well, you can't play men the same way you play women - and yes, i think conning men is way easier than conning women) but the overall story is the same, including the end. Everyone wanting something unexpected should watch one of the 20+ other con movies made in the last decade. It is not as if there weren't enough out there^^

Normally, I really like Anne Hathaway. **Especially** recently. But not only did I think The Hustle was pretty bad, even she specifically was pretty bad in it.

_Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product._

Point by point remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and while I don't hold that movie in as high regards compared to others, this spit in its face with offering absolutely nothing new with the comedy falling flat at every turn and worse yet, where Michael Caine and Steve Martin were great together, Ann More

It's pretty much a re-make of "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" which was itself a remake, only this one isn't as good.
