This film is really something. It's a psychological horror from Argentina, about a dubbing actress who goes through a traumatic experience that causes her having a hard time sleeping, experiencing nightmares, confusing herself between what's real and what's not. One day at work, the sound engineer notices in the recording that there are strange sounds that seems coming from inside her. That leaves her with delusions that 'the intruder' is trying to take over her body. I'm still not sure if I like this or not. The concept is definitely unique and original. I've never seen anything with that concept before so that's a plus. The film starts off very promising. I love films that constantly play with your mind and want you to be unsure of what is reality and what is dreams. This film does that. The lead is fantastically played. It also has fantastic sound design that enrich the experience. Unfortunately, there are a lot of weird decisions in here and I just don't think the film is sure as to which direction it wishes to take. It's worth watching as a failed attempt with some cool visuals and interesting ideas. I just wish it had held together better.
