About 15 minutes in the movie and I'm allready impressed with ... ok sorry can't do this.
It's fine for a B movie. Low budget is obvious, story line is linear, predictable.

In some future world the USA still hasn't abolished the death penalty. It embraced it. Leave it to the USA to make money out of death on their own soil. That actually is the most realistic aspect of this movie so far.

It's easy entertainment while working on other things, like cleaning.

Erm....this was very much a cross between Jurassic World and The Hunger Games. It didn't really work.

The very scarce budget left in the dinosaurs in this very cheap copy of the hunger games

Against all the odds, 'The Jurassic Games' is actually entertaining.

This has all the makings of a truly terrible film, with its average acting, writing and special effects. However, honestly, it somehow manages to make it all work. It's very similar to 2007's 'The Condemned', though does add different aspects from dinosaurs to video game-style levels.

Its special effects are surprisingly passable, not great by any measure but considering the level of this film they are relatively good - definitely above what you'd expect of the usual cheap sci-fi productions. Likewise with the sets, cast and David Stone Hamilton's score.

Ryan Merriman plays The Host fairly well, while Adam Hampton (Tucker) leads the rest comfortably. I won't remember any of the performances, but that's not to say what they give is bad. They match what the film produces.

This is nothing to set the world alight, but I think it deserves minor praise for exceeding expectations. I'd watch it again, which can't always be said for these type of productions.
