Widowed Welsh mother Anna Loenowens becomes a governess and English tutor to the wives and many children of the stubborn King Mongkut of Siam. Beautiful Thailand in the past age was the plot in the film.Western countries intended to invade the world and some countries attempted to accept western culture in 19C. The King of Thailand also tried to learn it and let the nation know it. In the film, there was a dance which was combined beautiful traditional Thai way with a western story. I could see the wonderful relationship between Thai people and a female English teacher in the film. This is a good musical film.

Great musical, very beautiful!:heart_eyes: I'd heard of this musical all my life, but never got the chance to actually watch it. However, no one prepared me for the ending.:flushed: Watch this, you won't regret it!!
