Scott has been a case of arrested development ever since his firefighter father died when he was seven. He's now reached his mid-20s having achieved little, chasing a dream of becoming a tattoo artist that seems far out of reach. As his ambitious younger sister heads off to college, Scott is still living with his exhausted ER nurse mother and spends his days smoking weed, hanging with the guys — Oscar, Igor and Richie — and secretly hooking up with his childhood friend Kelsey. But when his mother starts dating a loudmouth firefighter named Ray, it sets off a chain of events that will force Scott to grapple with his grief and take his first tentative steps toward moving forward in life.

**07/10.** I am just gonna say that I didn't know this Pete Davidson guy or his story and I tend to dislike Judd Apatow movies because they all feel like CBS sitcoms BUT this is one good movie. The story is just so real, personal and touching. The comedy was well done. The performances were all great. Bill Burr just plays himself and that is a good thing. I don't really have a lot else to add. I was moved by this.

I loved it, lots of good sense of humour, heartwarming and deep moments from the script and some good messages and played out well with a super cast, other than being a comedian, pete davidson is a pretty good actor.

This movie was great. Warm, funny, and always engaging, it is well worth watching, with an excellent turn from star/cowriter Pete Davidson. Actually, kudos have to go to the rest of the cast too, with Tomei, Burr, and Buscemi being particular standouts. Even if you're not a fan of Apatow's work, you should give this one a try.
