[RussianFF] Adapting the writer Mikhail Zóschenko, the film uses two narrative formats, between the traditional one and the divided screen reminiscent of Greenaway's "Prospero's book" (1991). There is also a kind of homage to Eisenstein that is too absurd. It gets lost in a certain extravagance visually interesting, but without being able to create characters that overcome the remarkable distance from the viewer.
