@rasms managed 25 and gave up, disjointed storyline, no apparent connections

It's not as bad as you have heard, but it isn't a great film either. It's overlong and muddled, with a few casting choices that should have been reconsidered. The action isn't bad though and there is a glimpse of something better here, so if you can get through the crap you might find the occasional moment to enjoy.

Listen to other reviewers. Waste of time movie. Terrible acting. Your typical Netflix crappy movie. If you have nothing to do & are bored, I would recommend painting a wall & watch it dry. You’ll get more enjoyment out of it.

Over loooooooooong. What was the point.
Don't bother with this movie. Also, our lead character has only one facial expression.

That was an extremely long pile of crap to sit through. Bricke must be a secret super-hero to survive the insides of a burning caravan as well as shot in the guts and then driving for miles in a truck. Plain stupid story, sorry, no cigar

My score? 2. Like the 2 hours of my life nobody is going to give me back (yeah, didn't bother to see the ending).

gave up at the halfway mark. the premise is mildly interesting but the movie does a shitty job of executing it and it feels like it's trying to be a parody but falling short. michael pitt's acting is truly the only entertaining thing about this movie, which isn't really a surprise.

Based on a graphic novel, The Last Days of American Crime is a dark and ugly thriller. Days before a signal is launched that will prevent people from committing crime, a bank robber named Graham Bricke is recruited to pull one last heist during the transition when the system is vulnerable. Edgar Ramirez, Michael Pitt, and Sharlto Copley lead the cast and give decent performances. However, the script is rather weak and confusing; not integrating the subplots very well. And the sex and violence is pretty gratuitous. Still, the action scenes are exciting and there’s a fair amount of intrigue as to the heist. Yet overall The Last Days of American Crime is a mess that’s unsure of what it wants to say.

I read the graphic novel this was based on a while back and, honestly, couldn't tell you much about it. It just sort of disappeared from my memory. This film will likely be the same. It's a somewhat bland, overlong (it's 2.5 hours in length), underwritten, scene-chewing affair that wastes a unique premise by becoming a pretty standard heist film. The characters are generally one-note and the relationships of the main characters don't seem earned in the least. They go from strangers to seemingly knowing so much about each other that it strains believability. Maybe if this had a lot of the fat cut away, made better use of the premise, and injected some more believable interactions it would be a solid flick, but as it is... it's not worth the time commitment.

Not the worst movie I have ever seen. It's not The Chocolate War, but not every movie can be.
