The last thing I ever wanted was this. With a good cast and director, I expected something better. Sadly, this film is a jumbled mess, with lapses in story that leave plot threads dangling. A shame.

This film is a huge mess. It's a thriller with no thrills. Not much happens, Hathaway smokes cigarettes, yells at people on the phone and sometimes goes to an airport. The dialogue is tiresome and nonsensical, everyone talks in that cliched movie way through metaphor and long monologues. Editing is an absolute disaster, I couldn’t follow any of it, not because it’s challenging or anything, it’s just incoherent and dull. The movie doesn’t even try to explain any of the events going on. The characters come and go, keep talking and the viewer is left with zero clue as to what their contribution was. The acting is okay, nothing special though. Anne Hathaway tries way to hard to show a sense of pain and Ben Affleck looks like :neutral_face: during nearly every scene.

Good acting by Anne Hathaway but besides that the movie is a complete mess and hard to follow.
