I don't understand the ridicule this movie gets. Aside from a few dated effects, which make sense in the context of the story, it's a pretty decent Frankenstein-esque tale. Fahey and Brosnan are quite likeable in their roles, and the story is sound.

I only saw a bit of this on VHS many years back, now watching it fully, it sure cut my grass and I liked the effects also cast played great together and definitely not outdated because virtuality is still reality today.

The sequel is getting bad ratings so I won’t be cutting that lawn but I’d happily welcome a remake because of the effects today and the right cast, it’ll probably be good.

It's a decent film with an interesting concept, good acting and interesting effects. From my perspective watching for the first time, the thing that holds it back somewhat isn't the CGI which as odd as it appears now has a charm but the Handling of Jobe's learning difficulties from a modern standpoint feel a little clunky. Glad I finally saw it.

This is a pretty decent movie. That absolutely has nothing to do with Stephen King short short story. It shouldn’t even say it is based on his story.
Not that the actual story needed to be even adapted. Since it is about a lawnmower man that eats grass and kills people....
So I’m not sure where they got virtual reality making you smarter from.
