What a great movie... Michael Caine was amazing as Scrooge

Probably my favorite version of The Christmas Carol. It's really just about a perfect family Christmas film. Michael Caine is able to pull off the cruel and miserly Scrooge as well as display the regret and despair that is so important in making Ebenezer's turn feel fulfilling. Add in great muppet versions of the supporting characters and some very good, if not great, songs and you have a classic. It has laughs, but more importantly for this time of year, it has heart and warmth. I love it.

Whenever you´ve had a bad day try a Muppet movie. Works for me every time.

Shows how boring critics are, that this isn’t certified fresh. Has great music, fine sets and Michael Caine in good form as Scrooge. Just the perfect Christmas family film.

In my opinion, the best Muppet movie ever. So of course it only has 71% good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Meanwhile, it's a pretty flawless version.

Rizzo the Rat is HYSTERICAL. Dude was cracking me up. When he kissed Gonzo on the nose! I lost it!!!! Watching Manhattan now just to get more Rizzo. I was a Gonzo guy growing up but this Rizzo dude is my fave now.

This is the best Muppet movie ever. I don't care what you say about the first one, the caper, islands, or new ones. This is the best. I have watched this many times and I will watch it many times more. If you don't love this, then you are indeed Scrooge and need to rethink your cold blooded lifestyle.

A very touching Christmas Carol movie. It almost had me in tears right at the end. I'm wondering how I've missed that movie for so long. The song ''It Feels Like Christmas'', it's sublime. A must for the Christmas period.

Believe it or not, The Muppet Christmas Carol is still one of my favorite adaptations of Dickens' tale. It's not one of the funniest Muppet films, but it's undeniably the most heartwarming. Absolutely a must-watch if you are spending Christmas Eve with the whole family. The sugary mood and sappy songs are an added value for this kind of movie. While being generally light in tone, it manages to introduce more serious themes to the kids while still moving the heart of older viewers.
