This was one hell of a ride, fun, fast, smart, good story despite what some people said, nice black comedy with action... and stuff. Great performances and great chemistry between Gosling and Crowe they were very funny and the girl, well, I loved all her scenes, was cute and funny, she was great. Very good movie, my favorite from this year.

This was fun. For once Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man 3) made a movie not set around Christmas time as well lol.

Well the first half was dull and boring, the second half was a bit better but not that great.

Easily worth a watch

Very underrated. You should go watch it. Amazing acting and dialogue.

No esperaba disfrutar tanto esta pelicula como la disfrute, no vi el trailer pero me llamo la atención la sinopsis, pensé que era una pelicula mas de acción, pero tiene mucho mas, me encanto el personaje de Ryan, me hizo reír mucho. Todos los personajes son buenos y la historia me mantuvo interesada todo el tiempo, varias partes inesperadas que disfrute mucho. ¡La volvería a ver sin dudarlo!

The Nice Guys

The reason to watch this film is for Crowe and Gosling, they played their parts fantastically and their chemistry was a joy.
The plot of the two guys both tracking down a woman, leading into a major conspiracy was outrageous but great.

The characters and comedy really drive this movie but the story never really hooked me. Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe are best buddies, great chemistry and comedic interactions. While the comedy is mostly hit, there are some moments where they're trying too hard to be funny. Not enough action for my liking (considering it's the first genre mentionned in the description) but whenever there's action, it's pretty good. I started to really enjoy the movie when Matt Bomer came in as the villain and Yaya DaCosta as Tally, it just suddenly became a better movie, so the last half hour was the best. Good performances. Nothing special from the filmmaking but it looks decent. It's missing a standout soundtrack but I like the funky score. Overall, this was an alright watch. And stuff.

The fact that this isn't getting a sequel is the most depressing thing ever.

I mean, I've never seen this side of Gosling and Crowe before, even in a buddy cop film. "The Nice Guys" has one of the tightest scripts in recent years from the excellent Shane Black.
