"The Objective" kept me very interested in its first half and then, as the fatigue of the soldiers grew, so did my viewing experience. This isn't to say that "The Objective" is bad or boring, it's just grueling. Things occur during the movie that try to make the cast of characters more personable but they are just another crew that dies along the way to escalate impact. Of course, that's probably the plot of 90% of the movies I've watched. It's probably not a fair criticism, but I'm tagging this with it, anyway.

I put a lot of personal value in a story's ending. It's the main reason that I prefer Movies over TV Shows. I hate long, dragged out, unresolved story lines. This is usually the case with TV Shows. They get popular, viewership grows, advertisements are sold. Then popularity shrinks and the show gets cancelled without resolution. In the case of "The Objective", some might say there is no resolution, either. Ah...but there is a conclusion offered, it's just left open to be interpreted. What's my interpretation? I have no clue. In fact, I delayed writing my thoughts because I couldn't commit to liking or disliking this movie, and I still can't decide. I will say that my indecisiveness isn't based on the wide-open ending, it stems largely from thin characters and the thinning of those characters as things progress.
