Every time I think I've found my worst watch of the year, something else comes along to make me rethink that thought. This was awful and I'm not sure I can say a single good thing about it.

mmhhh this one is kinda hart. the movie itself is unquestionably an experience. i feel its kinda only there for that. because i mean i know what i saw but i have no idea what i saw. first you just watch it, then you feel something is off and then its too late. sometimes its very annoying because it gets loud and confusing but sometimes it looks very beautiful. definitely something different and maybe worth a couple of rewatches. the more i think of this movie the more interesting it gets. but prepare yourself, its really forked up.

This has got to be one of the worst found footage films I have seen.

Half the time you can’t even see what’s going on. I couldn’t even finish the movie.

Very boring and a waste of my time

People who gave 6 to this movie are just way too generous. And who tf goes to the middle of the desert with a flashlight worst than my phone.

Quite slow, then very way too dark (as in I couldn’t tell what was going on) then the ending was boss! Would I watch it again? No

Be careful what you wish for. This is what I get for complaining about found footage movies where it's no more than a gimmick, and the shots look too intentional. This was certainly not that. As a result, I can't rate this as poorly as I want to, because people like me asked for it.

I actually enjoyed the slow first half of the movie, because you got to know the characters a bit and how they interact, and sorta live with them for a little before things go to hell. It made you care more in the anticipation of whatever was around the corner. But then when things actually started happening, it became regrettably difficult to watch and keep track of what was happening.

I wish I liked this more, because it had promise.

Video camera movies are made to look real. But if the direction is not crisp they can be the most horrible of movies you ever watched. This one is both annoying and horribly boring. Wanting to be in the lines of VH1 but not to be.

So much respect for those who sat through the whole "movie". I finished at 11:08 couldn't care to watch anymore of this.

40 minutes of exposition that really didn't tell us anything about the characters. They were just people existing and walking around, not doing or saying much. Then 1 hour of incoherent blackness and screaming.

Definitely not a movie for everyone. It is super abstract and confusing, and nothing is really wrapped up well. That said, I loved it. I'm a huge fan of cosmic horror and this fit into that niche really nicely. It was shot really well and I loved how the film just felt like watching a terrifying nightmare. It was totally weird and creepy and unsettling, and I think it's going to stay with me for a long time.

The actual scary scenes are terrifying, and the mystery element is great because it really does keep you guessing... but it feels like more often than not you are watching something insignificant, like the equivalent of a computer screensaver, or just a small flashlight that is not pointed at anything in particular.
I understand that these are intended to disarm you... but there were a few times that they just followed up with a jump scare, which was just cheesy. Audio was used effectively to keep a small portion of the the pointless footage interesting, but overall those parts dragged on and took away from the excitement. I guess this is the "sensory film" approach like Spring Breakers, but watching a flashlight pointed at a chandelier for 40 seconds just felt excessive
What a waste of time... The only thing I got out of the movie was motion sickness. Actor's did a good job, but couldn't carry the bad directing. Anything remotely interesting was filmed so dark you couldn't see anything.

There are a few moments, but overall we start with an hour of hanging with the victims that goes on too long then a second hour of a pin hole flashlight that goes on too long
