One of my favourite childhood movies. Lindsay Lohan does a great job of playing both main parts and you can always tell which one she's playing, even when she swaps because of their distinct personality traits. Very funny movie.

Nostalgia hits pretty hard with this one! I can understand how this may not works for kids today, this will forever be one I adore. It’s simple one of the good ole enjoyable Disney family flicks.

Enjoyable watch and Lohan did a great job at such a young age. Both parents are absolute smoke shows so definitely a pleasure to watch them fall back in love with each other.
It's classic rom com timelines for stuff so some suspension of disbelief is required. Only wish they'd leant more into the reunion moments with each twin and the people in their lives.

Truly a great family movie. Lindsay Lohan's performance really carries the movie. it captures everything great about the 90s. The runtime could have been 30 minutes shorter tho.

Entertaining and sweet. Just as good as the 1961 original, which probably edges this ever so slightly but they are both terrific films.

1998's 'The Parent Trap' features Lindsay Lohan in the dual role, she is excellent as Hallie and Annie - Hayley Mills from '61 would be my pick as the sisters, but again it's a tremendous piece of casting.

It's also a tight call between the parents, with Dennis Quaid (Nick) and Natasha Richardson (Liz) in those roles here - they have believable chemistry, which is key. Elsewhere in this '98 remake, Elaine Hendrix (Meredith) and Lisa Ann Walter (Chessy) are good.

The camera work et al. is impressive. Though, just like the first film, the run time could probably have been shorter. Not that that's a big negative, as this film is very much enjoyable to watch. Recommended.

Quite predictable movie but at least somehow fun at times. Not great but not too bad. It's a children's movie so there's probably not a lot to say about the level of sophistication…
Lindsay Lohan is quite a good actress in this one – I was surprised…

Absolutely love this movie. So nostalgic and man, Lindsay Lohan was such a talent. Even sadder to watch knowing what happened to Natasha Richardson.

This film may just sit on my absolute favourite lists. The jazzy score, the fun locations, even the editing adds to the bouncing, playful story. Lohan is incredible in her dual roles and it actually upsets me how she hasn't gone far enough in her career since (thinking about what she could have been). Cheesy as hell at times but it feels so right. Pure late 90s, childhood nostalgia. I love Chessy.
