So. Here we are. The third movie directed by Kevin Costner - after Dances with the wolves (good classic movie) and Open Range.
The last one, Postman however is very medicore. It's not bad, but is it good ?

Well, it sounds simple, but it's way more complicated.

Actually there are two major problems with this movie:

1. It's way too long.
And i don't mean 20 minutes or so. I mean like and hour or more. There are storylines that should help to evolve the characters beside Kevin. But Kevin Costner as a director takes waaaay to much screentime for that.

2. 200% heroic
I like this kind of movies. If a little Flower of Hope is spreading and you can watch like it grows. But the movie does it so obivous and clumsy that it ruins it. Like "You don't do it for you. You do it for the greater good". Yeah, i know what the movie want to say. But, comeon, seriously? Such a flar message? Btw. this is no actual line from the movie, but i think you get the idea.

The setting is really interesting though, bus in the end it's a medicore movie. It's not surprised that this movie crashed in boxoffice.
