_The Prayer_ is aptly named because I didn't have much faith in it to begin with, if you can believe that. Like a real prayer, this was too long, had no real direction and I was glad when it ended. Seriously, the film felt eternal and a little hellish at the same time. Just to be clear, I'm not anti-religion, I'm anti-boredom, anti-cliche and anti-rehab film that preaches the exact same platitudes as every other rehab film. I'm not judging believers, I'm judging this film and it's been very bad. Still, honourable mention goes out to Anthony Bajon who manages the lead role well and gives his character a nice evolution.
