The film is very honest and straightforward, if a viewer cannot connect with its message it's more likely to do with their own presuppositions than the movie failing to deliver its message.

Without shame to use all possible resources to achieve the goal of connecting with the viewer, the English director Farah Nabulsi has a strictly Western look and in that sense she knows how to use the right elements to manipulate emotions. And this description of the humiliation at the Bethlehem check-points seems designed strictly for that. But it lacks the honesty of a look that is not infected by distance.
