This has got to be one of the most bizarre, random movies that I have ever seen. I love musicals but this movie is not at all what I was expecting. None of this movie is serious in any way, shape or form. All the characters are awkward and exaggerated. Its full of overt sexual innuendo. Go in expecting a comedy, a comedy so stupid that its funny, and you might enjoy it. I went in expecting a musical and was quite disappointed.

The Producers" (2005) attempts to deliver a silly and over-the-top comedy, but its execution falls short. The film's absurd plot, slapstick humor, and flamboyant musical numbers can be amusing at times, but they don't consistently hit the mark. While it embraces its own silliness, the overall experience lacks the charm and magic of the original, earning it a modest 2 and a half stars out of 5 from me. Although I did like the pigeons!
