This was awesome! So fun to watch!
It's full of talented actors playing crazy characters but Tim Curry steals the show with a brilliant performance! He is the most sexy Sweet Transvestite from Transexual Transylvania!
I had heard some people saying that this film was rubbish but I guess the people who say that missed the whole point of it. I loved it!

Watching it again after 6 years I realize how genius it is. I used to love the music to death and thought the movie itself was nothing special, but now I'm also loving the characters, the acting, the references/parodies of older horror flicks... and probably my favorite part: the little messages and metaphors scattered around.

Like the floor of your favorite dive bar: sweet, sticky and tacky but man does it feel good to be home.

I used to watch Rocky Horror every Saturday during a midnight movie deal when I was in college. After not having seen it for years, I caught it at an 11pm showing in Barcelona (in the beautiful Phenomena cinema) and settled so comfortably into the throwback that my stupid grin refused to dim.

“Let’s do the Time Warp again!” The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a madcap horror musical that became a cultural phenomenon. The story follows a stranded couple that takes shelter at a nearby castle and are taken on a psychedelic journey of the bizarre by Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a “sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania.” The film satirizes the sci-fi and horror genres, with particular allusions to Frankenstein and Dracula. Featuring several of the original stars from the stage production, the cast is amazingly good, giving incredible performances. And the musical numbers are especially energetic, with fun and rambunctious songs; such as “The Time Warp” and “Science Fiction/Double Feature.” A garish and irreverent film that goes all out, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is wildly entertaining.

Doesn’t make sense either as a horror spoof or as a musical, but I can’t help enjoying it each time. The songs are not even that good. It’s the quintessential cult classic of the seventies, the film that could turn camp and kitsch into an aesthetic experience. It gets a tad too dull during the second half, though.

There isn´t a movie around I have seen more often than this one. I can´t count it. Rocky Horror Show never gets old, never gets boring.

I'm so very late to the literal party. I went into this movie with a bunch of expectations because I've seen this pop up literally everywhere on every social media platform. But at the same time I had no idea what this movie was about. I don't think anyone could've possibly explained it to me either. What a ride.
So this movie was so ahead of its time. Tim Curry is brilliant. He alone would be reason enough to at least watch this once. My husband watched along and he never likes musicals and this was so over the top but we watched it all the way through, giving each other looks like 'what are we even watching?' but never stopping. It's amusing and weird and wild. It's refreshing and fun. It touches a lot of gruesome subjects
Frank basically assaults both Janet and Brad, murder, what is up with the incest vibes between Magneta and Riff Raff, Did they eat Eddie?
but brushes over that with songs.
This is definitely not everyone's cup of tea but it's a classic for sure.
