Don't believe the pack mentality concerning _The Snowman_. This Cult of Rotten Tomatoes and piling on after one bad review is a tad ridiculous, especially concerning solid films like this one. For example, I liked the filming style here and found the cinematography often gorgeous.

On the other hand, the story was like a child who tries too hard to be clever, and watching Michael Fassbender act is like making love to someone who's always looking in the mirror when he fucks because he's more interested in his own image than your pleasure. On top of that, what was up with Val Kilmer's voice that they had to dub all of his scenes? Whatever the reason, the Christian Bale Batman voice they chose was extremely distracting...

Bottom line: don't believe everything you read. Like with every other movie, see it and judge it for yourself. Don't let other people tell you what you think!

This makes me want to rewatch Zodiac.

It was to simple and predictable, a little old school i could say. you have your unknown murderer the twist and the revelation. To easy to follow and no surprises. Great Scenery and photography though.

Obviously Anna is the killer. Since she was 5 y.o she always asked people if they want to build a snowman. And her sister, cold never bothered her anyway.

The killer was pretty obvious, and the ending was shocking...ly bad and anti-climatic. Beautiful scenery. Would've been better with Norwegian actors.

Are we really supposed to believe that nobody wears gloves or even a decent coat in _rural Norway in the middle of winter_?

Not bad at all. I liked it much better than reviews show.

Was this movie story boarded? Could have been a better movie. Maybe they tried to add all the characters that worked on the page, but not on film so they came across as extraneous. I feel cheated and I know there is really more than shown here. Maybe if read the book, it'll make sense. Whole scenes seen in the trailers are not in the film.

The cinematographer deserves an Oscar. Makes you want to visit Norway and walk around in the dead of winter with your coat open. There's a hint of another future film with the character with the unfortunate name of Harry Hole.

Next time hire a better director and writers.

Do better next time, storyboarding and editing. Kind of a hot mess, but great actors who did the best they could.

Too bad I didn't like this movie. I like Michael Fassbender.

Nothing happens, really. Not worth a watch. Seriously, don't.
