It may not meet all the technical requirements of the movie critic but I haven’t been this emotional during a movie for a while. Well made, amazing story. It will truly break your heart.

Just a descent true sports drama telling a true story about 2 refugees from Syria who fight to get out of a war zone and get somewhere safe where they can begin to train again in attempt to make the olympics as swimmers. Although its the moral of the story, I felt there was too much time spent on their journey out of their country and not enough on the swimming aspect to show how much it meant to them and how good they really were. The plot development was therefore a bit slow but easy to follow and did keep you on the edge of your seat. But then again, the ending was rushed and you didn't get to know how exactly well she did in the Olympics. The character development was really well done and made the audience get to know them well.

Such a beautiful and powerful movie. It finds a perfect balance between drama and moments of hope and joy.

The movie moved me quite emotionally. The story of these two young women is incredible, as it is one of many. I found it strange that the sisters spoke English among themselves and only Arabic with their families. I also didn't like the soundtrack, too "American" or something. Don't know.

This was an incredible portrait of what it means to be a displaced person. I greatly appreciated the fact that two-thirds of the film focused on the journey from a war-torn Syria to safe refuge in Germany. The inbetween trek was heartbreaking and frightening, and real-life sisters Manal and Nathal More
