This had been on my list of shame for some time. I loved Nick and Nora in "Murder by Death" but had never seen the original. Sometimes the term classic doesn't really work. Movies don't hold up because tastes change...this is not one of those cases. A lovely murder mystery with great dialogue crackling between Myrna Loy and William Powell. Literally, every scene drags until these two show up and then...ZOWIE! I plan to watch the other installments, so take that as a recommendation. 7/10

Fun and filled with booze loving detective work. As this is the early days of movies, the ending could use a bit of work considering the build up.

It's pretty witty and enjoyable, but the way the mystery wrapped up could've had a little bit more explanation.
