I think this is one of the best documentaries of the decade. It is not only well made but it moves you, it makes you think as a person and as a member of the society. And it makes you want to act. And that is what documentaries are about. It hurts so much because of the plot. But it is a must.

Marisela was one tough passionate lady! I feel for all the other mothers and their families who have had a relative killed in similar circumstances in Mexico.

Netflix Documentaries are fire. It has become a trend that people love shows which have real events to it but sadly families and people in face the realty. The documentary shows How crime in Mexico is alarming and, the government has to protect those criminal organizations. The only thing about the documentary its too long because of the details. Worth watching!!

[Netflix] A necessary documentary even if it is not a remarkable film, because it falls into the overexploitation of feelings and embellishes fictional recreations too much, taking into account that the visual representation of the story is made only through the testimonies of the interviewees. It is remarkable the courage that does not avoid direct accusations, whether against politicians, judges or organized crime, as well as the clarity with which such complex facts are told. And it is fundamental to denounce a society that allows the mistreatment and murder of women within marriage as a normal fact.
