Three kids, orphans, spend the Christmas with a toy maker and his wife (and a CFO). The three of them, Ray, Mike, and Henry are a bit older than the orphans who are getting adopted. Not to mention their nickname is the HOly Terrors.

Still, the married couple takes them in and as their nickname indicates, all hell breaks loose (lots of broken things for one thing).

I was surprised that despite its similarity to a lot of the other Hallmark-y Christmas movie, this movie was quite good. I'm not sure if it was the writing, which while syrupy in some ways it also had snappy, good dialogue and didn't get too mired in the sappy-ness. Or it could have been the acting. Mimi Kennedy played Rita, the head of the orphanage and Jack's (played by Dean Cain) Aunt was hilarious and stern and caring all at the same time. Dean Cain was also good, and he and Jean Louisa Kelly who played his wife had very good chemistry as well.

Then the kids. They were good kid actors, though sometimes their acting was a little flat. But, still, a lot of the emotional scenes that they did were very good.

The movie wasn't surprising, no life altering twists. I was pretty sure I knew how it was going to end, and I was right. But aside from being predictable it was a good, solid, entertaining movie.
