6.5/10 - This is basically Twilight's spin of Romeo and Juliet.

It's kinda interesting but I don't really like it. When watching it for the second time I thought I'd hate the choice and conflict between Edward and Jacob (IIRC that bugged me when I watched it for the first time) but I don't mind that at all. I don't feel bad for Jacob as he isn't without flaws either and didn't really get treated that unfairly.

It mainly sucks that Edward "complains" about Romeo being stupid and then attempts the same... (should've double checked and could've attended the funeral first anyway).

Anyway, my biggest complaint with this second movie is that it's too depressing. That seems to be the point of it so they probably did their job well but I don't like dark and depressing stories.

The beginning is fine, then it gets quite depressing, and finally it gets nice again when Alice comes visiting (my favorite part as it really sucks that all of the Cullen's left with no way for Bella to contact any of them - it's so relieving when Alice finally returns!).

The end is good. A few nice scenes with Alice, we get to meet the Volturi (scary but Aro is kinda cool), and finally (the best part of this movie) the Cullen's family votes to turn Bella into a Vampire :)
