Predictable at parts, but still engrossing. The dog with the upside down head was awesome. Exorcism scene was intense.

Wasn't the worst horror movie ever, parts had me creeped out.Especially the twisted animals and humans! Not bad, not sure if I'd choose to watch again though.

Written and directed by David Goyer, The Unborn is a dull and morose supernatural thriller. The story follows a college student named Casey Beldon who begins to have strange visions and comes to believe that she’s being stalked by a malicious spirit. Lead actress Odette Yustman has no charisma and gives a completely lifeless performance. And, the script is poorly written and is hard to follow (despite numerous exposition dumps). Additionally, the imagery, while disturbing at times, isn’t altogether that scary. Uninspired tripe, The Unborn is a monotonous and poorly made film.

If you already like watching these kinds of movies, the Unborn certainly doesn't try to do anything different then what has already been done, and is worth watching.

**Overall : When it comes to lower-budget horror movies, The Unborn is a pretty solid addition.**

Part of why I enjoyed this movie as much as I did probably had more to do with laughing at my friends who freaked out in the theater than the actual movie itself. But with that being said, the movie More
