This Horror anthology features a wraparound story starring Peter Cushing and Ray Milland. Wilbur Gray (Cushing) is an author who has investigated strange cases of people being killed by cats. Yes, cats. Gray urges and pleads that Richards (Milland) publish his case histories in a book about the feline killers that threaten mankind. So Gray tells Richards three stories of supernatural horrors all featuring cats. This has got to be filed under the so-bad-it's-good category of movies.

One of the stories features a dying woman who wills her fortune to her cats instead of to her spoiled nephew. Watch this one for all the stunt-cat attacks on the rich woman's misguided maid.

A second story tells of a little girl who just lost her Mom and Dad in a plane crash. She is forced to live with her Aunt and Uncle and their spoiled brat of a daughter. The daughter teases the poor girl in what is likely the most cold-hearted case of mental torture I've seen. Luckily, the girl's deceased mother was a witch who left her books about magic and casting spells. This tale had me laughing out loud and rolling my eyes in disbelief, but I'll be damned if I didn't come away totally entertained. Stay with this one for the chance to witness some of the worst prop work I've seen...or I could call it the best use of a giant cat paw prop ever made.

The final entry stars Donald Pleasence in a comedic turn as a B-movie Horror star who kills his wife to shack up with another woman. His wife's cat is not pleased. Pleasence absolutely kills it in this segment.

Overall, this is pretty dumb, but it's not bad-dumb. It really entertains as it manages to bring a fun vibe without going over the top. It's not stupid campy stuff.
