The documentary delivers a powerful story of survivors and the community. If you like documentaties, i would definitely recommend it but be aware that it can leave you emotional after watching it. I loved the way it was set up - easy to follow and you had enough different perspectives to get a clear picture, but not so many you felt lost or confused . My heart raced beginning to end, fantastic testimony of the power of human nature and Mother Nature . This was a terrible tragedy , in spite of that , the people who stepped up to help and the will to survive were incredible and commendable.

I am always intrigued by volcanos and I enjoyed how the story was told. At times it got a little slow for me but I was locked into the story pretty well. I liked the different styles it used.

A heartfelt and beautiful film, the survivors are so brave. Mother Nature can be stunningly beautiful as well as everyone’s worst nightmare. RIP those that lost their lives

Oh my god. I don’t believe that the tourist (not even the guides) fully understood the risks. Who is in fault? I’m not sure. But there were no devices to measure the activity, no clear warning signs? There are people who lost their whole families and nobody took any responsibility. Very sad and disturbing.

First off, my sincere condolences to the families of the 22 victims who lost their lives during the 2019 eruption of Whakaari. Unfortunately, it feels like, in the quest for tourism $$, the government, as well as tour companies and officials DOWNPLAYED the potential for injury and DEATH in the case More
