Absolutely beautiful. The story, the message, the visual, the acting, I found everything so appealing and engaging. For me, it was the first time I was able to smile while watching something related to the towers, I didn't necessarily remembered a tragedy, but I rather felt hopeful while seeing the amount of beauty a man was able to produce.

There were so many moments in this movie that just connected with me. The tense and playful walk, the policemen acting the exact same way I am feling, Jeff when he jumps around, when Philippe undresses, when J.P. joins the coup, how I was sweating everytime he turned around, it really had me on my "edge", I'll tell you that. Overall, would watch this again!

Worse than horror movie. First movie that I close my eyes. I felt more scared than Jeff.

Really really enjoyed this movie. From the beginning to the end i was fully engaged. The true story doesn't seem that interesting, since its just about a tight-rope walker. But this movie does a great job of immersing you in the main character's story and motivation, with brilliant storytelling techniques and a great cast of characters. Joseph Gordon Levitt's performance was superb. The movie also never took itself too seriously, keeping a pleasant light-hearted feel the entire time with plenty of funny moments. Wish i would've watched this one in the cinema.

This film was balanced between good, and a mix of cheesy, mostly because Joseph Gordon was trying too hard to put on, Phillppe petit accent, but other than that he did great. My other point would be showing off the fake on the CGI too much... one thing i though that was stupid, i don't know if it was based on the true story or just an added bit into the film.. is the helicopter scene.. why would you go that close to tell him to get off the wire... ha The true story behind this film is unbelievable like, somebody loves him up there, and give him the faith to balanced for his life.. never give up your dream eh? even if it's gonna go has far has risking your life.. A good cast.. I do love Robert Zemeckis work, done some great ones... like Forrest Gump my all time favorite XD RIP Twin Towers.. and all the people that lost their lives in the 9/11

I *think* I enjoyed this film.

I say I *think* as it quite literally caused a cold sweat! I'm not the best with heights - and - the scenes in this film, the realism, I felt transported to that wire; it was terrifying!!

I know it to be be true, but, I can barely believe Philipe walked out on that wire not once but 8 times. Certainly worth a free pass but sadly the 'forever' part of that cannot be fulfilled.

Breathtakingly suspenseful and frightening without the usual horror that those two words accompany. I can't believe this is a real story and that someone would have actually done this.

More tense, and stupidly stressing than most thriller or even horror films around there. The walking part of The Walk is simply irritatingly espetacular. Cold-sweated through the whole Walk. Definitely not a great film, but achieves its aim of making you feel a bit desperate and awesome while on the line. I was expecting even more immersion into the 3D technology, thou.
