charming and fun slasher flick based on a horror novel (which i admittedly haven't read yet). sydney park is a solid lead and there are some especially funny moments in the dialogue. since it's a teen movie it's understandably not mind blowing or game changing, but it takes inspiration from scream and honors the genre pretty well while doing so.

if you like horror films it's fairly predictable, but i think it was also good at giving enough red herrings to keep me engaged throughout.

Not really good, there are plenty of movies/series with the secret thing but in this one there was no correlation between the secrets and the reason why the person was killed. Like the drug guy, why would you kill him just because he does drugs and keeps it a secret? It doesn’t really make sense at all, if it was longer it could have been developed a little more.
Yeah not really good.

**A serviceable slasher that decently portrays a serial killer devolving. The vicious kills are done quite well.**

Pathetic direction. It started in a way, being a slasher movie similar to Scream and it ended up being a One-Tree-Hill style movie since half movie.

Pick one of the 2 genres before making a movie.

This is genuinely really bad and disguised itself as something really good, it was so bad it was almost a comedy, but it wasn't even funny. Really two Nazi's that's so played out. Not to mention how predictable the killer was from literally the middle of the first act. "Rich Whitney kids die the movie"

Film 93 (Goal: 300) of 2024

There's Someone Inside Your House is a middling, predictable, disconnected NETFLIX horror, where a group of outsiders in a small town are being targeted by a killer.

The film starts really well but soon the quality drops significantly. There are moments throughout where that quality returns but it's fleeting. There are some terrible scenes in this film, which border on CW territory, with the terrible house party scene standing out. It also didn't help that I predicted the killer within the first 10 minutes - but admittedly the film still kept me guessing. I just don't know if the outcome is worth the journey.

I think I like it enough but that's due to it's style more than it's substance.

Just a alright, watchable, predictable with an average cast slasher that’s got nothing new to slashers before it and felt like scream meets 13 reasons why.

What a waste of my time. Im so tired of this formula. Unaware characters doing stuff that make no sense when someone is trying to kill you. I'm going to start looking at who the directors are so I can avoid these type of movies.

Very formulaic. Though you won't see anything new here, it was still enjoyable to watch

There's a killer on the loose terrorizing students of Osborne High School, wearing a life-like mask of their own face and exposing their biggest secrets. Makani must discover the killer identity before she becomes a victim and everyone knows her past. Another uninspired teen slasher with the usual high school cliches and uninteresting love interest. It doesn't have to reinvent the wheel but at least make it fun. Unfortunately, this film is not. I had some high expectations since it's coming from Creep director. It starts strong honestly, then it fails to mantain my interest. There's not enough red herrings and it's almost too predictable for me. The reveal isn't surprising or shocking to me. I wish the intent and motivations are more plausible. Whoever come up with the title tries too hard to make this film stands out. There's not enough 'someone inside the house' to make it the title. Not to mention the lead is bland as fuck and the side characters aren't used properly to me in this narrative. One star for the kills and gore. They're pretty violent but not enough to save this film.

You’ve seen it all before. Skip it and watch Scream again instead. At least that movie showed self awareness.

I'm not sure if this movie is stupid woke or making fun of stupid woke people.
Pretty white girl has to be a nazi. Police chief has to be a nazi. Everyone not on the woke train is a nazi.
Skip it unless you like watching over privileged children complain about how hard they have it.

I thought I was watching a spoof of Scream season 3 because the whole movie is incredibly hilarious. Until I know that it was not what the director intended it to be. So I give it 1/5. If the director clarifies it as a spoof then my rating will be 4/5.

I usually watch movies to the end, no matter how bad they are just so I can form an opinion on the whole thing. I just couldn't get through this and turned it off halfway through.

Episode 10x07
A slasher without rhythm, whose deaths do not matter to us and in which it was impossible for me to empathize with the protagonists. I think you can skip it, but if you have time to lose, it's on Netflix

The idea of wearing masks that look like your victim is the only thing worth keeping in this cliché dump you'll forget you watched even while you're watching it.

In the 21st century, you do not need to wear a mask, ie. Ghostface, to become a murderer, now we can 3D print any mask ourselves. ;)

This one's getting a lot of hate. The wife and I like silly slashers and enjoyed it. It's certainly not great, but featured some decent kills, and we had fun trying to guess who the killer or killers was/were. Some of the victims decisions were silly, but all in all it was a serviceable NF entry during October. 6.3 for me.
