Friends Aldo, Giovanni, and Giacomo travel from north to south for Giacomo's wedding, carrying a precious item: the father of the bride, a tyrannical rich man who is both their boss and father-in-law (also Aldo and Giovanni married his daughters), has entrusted them with a wooden leg, the work of a famous artist.

This was arguably the only comedy that could appeal to both teenagers and their parents at the time it came out. At least two generations of Italians still quote many of these jokes. The movie is a little disjointed, and a huge excuse to rehash many popular sketches of the trio. Some work, some didn't age too well.

One of the best italian film of this "last" year , also for me the best one of the trio .
