Having failed to get into the police force, Margarete takes up training as a security guard. One night she runs into a sexually agressive ex-colleague who insists on hailing a taxi to take her home to his place. Enter Tiger: short brown hair, a tough girl and a fighter, the cab driver. Realising that the situation is far from consensual, Tiger speeds off with Margarete, leaving her companion standing in the street. It won’t be the last time she rushes to Margarete’s aid. Tiger lives in an attic flat with two men. She knows how to wield a baseball bat. Stealing a uniform from security and renaming Margarete ‘Vanilla’, she begins to steer her life in a completely different direction.

- Storyline is boring and random as hell. Just trash. - The characters are bad. - The acting of the cop is very bad, e.g. when the girls throw food at him and he shouts at them - It's so random that Tiger helps Vanilla and Vanilla trusts her - The side characters are useless - Really nothing interesting happens - Not funny, not entertaining, no message. One of the worst movies I have ever seen.

_Tiger Girl_ is a naïve child who counts to ten thusly: 1,2,3,7,7,7,8, k, w... She ramps up her game quickly and then has nowhere left to go so she runs off the board and starts a completely new game. (Not the mention the titular character (the talented Ella Rumpf who I first saw in _Raw_ and then again in the equally spectacular _Sympathy for the Devil_) is only the catalyst for the main character, Vanilla the Killer, so why name the movie after her?) There are a lot of near misses in _Tiger Girl_ (lack of focus in the storyline, uneven acting in some cases, misdirected self-satisfaction) but, in the end, the film's energy, sincerity, and lady balls make it one that's a pleasure to watch.
