As with all films about time travel it can be a little confusing in places but it makes sense by the end of it. (Just about.) Great story with some very talented actors and very well written, filmed and edited. We all wish we could change some things in the past but it's better to live for today. That's why I'm not gonna spend too much time on this review because I've only got 7 hours left of today and I don't wanna spend the whole day writing a review about a film I watched a week ago when I could be living for today. Enjoy the film! TTFN.

An enjoyable movie with a great cast. A good message too;
sometimes, we are supposed to make mistakes.
holy crap, i could only make it 23 minutes into this. it is terrible. Sophie Turner tries to give her character some dimensionality but she's written as the MOST Manic Pixie Dream Girl character I've ever seen. I think Andrew Bowler, the writer, has never actually had a conversation with a woman or something. I had to bail at the horrible donkey slap comment scene.

Time travel is a funny thing but should never be messed with and you should just let life do it’s thing even if it’s making a mistake but mistakes can make us stronger.

I enjoyed that film, it was fun with a good cast and has a good sense humour, specially from (Skyler Gisondo).

not the greatest movie, but it's a watchable time travel romance story.

What a waste of a time machine! The best thing he went back to change was the Ultimate Frisbee Championship. ;-)

Well..... it could've been cast and written a little better, but the message is really quite unique and incredibly important. The idea of perfection as a graspable and tangible item is something we keep wanting to believe in. The what if factor, right? Tell me, who hasn't gone through a tumultuous relationship only to wish they had a time machine to change things? What we have here is a bit of a self-discovery mixed in with some basic laughs and romantic fantasy. The acting isn't the best because the casting was altogether flimsy, which in effect caused the chemistry to be wonky, but it wasnt a bad idea. Not by a long shot.

@iamdwg That would have been the core message of the movie if they didn't ruin it with the ending, which tears the whole thing apart. Asa's character was supposed to learn that he can't control relationships, and that if it's not meant to be, it's not going to happen. Getting back together in the end nullifies the previous character development they had been constructing.

@fiodeste I get where you're coming from, and while I do agree, I think it comes down to looking at the character development of both Asa's character AND Sophie's. You see, Asa learns his lesson and is willing and actively sacrificing the relationship to do the right thing. Sophie's character development is mostly ignored if I remember correctly, but she also has a purpose, a goal, and sees the relationship a certain way. You can't blame Asa, he was doing what he was supposed to do and pulling a Butterfly Effect, it was her doing. Mostly for a happy ending without lies. It's okay. Could be better.
