Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann

Remo Williams: Motorcycle Cowboy This isn't a movie one watches to judge if it is good or bad, it is one of those movies you you watch to marvel at the way they do on the podcast "How Did This Get Made." The cast is a decent line up of some very good actors who commit to their performances. Fred Ward plays a clueless motocross racer who stumbles across a secret time-travel experiment without realizing he's been transported to the wild west. Peter Coyote as a greedy and ambitious outlaw who wants the "riding machine" from the moment he sees it. Belinda Bauer plays the overly-sophisticated-and-sexy-for-Civil-War-times love interest who is a good shot and can hold her own against an armed gang of attackers, whose last name is Cygne....[spoiler] HE FUCKS HIS OWN GRANDMOTHER and may be his own Grandfather!! [/spoiler] Seriously, Ward's character Lyle Swann is never fully aware he's been transported to the past! In all, it is a pretty good 'bad movie' that I'm glad I watched.
