A tension filled, heartfelt adventure about a man and his dog(s). Solid performances and an intriguing true story make for a pretty great romp through icy Alaska. Between this and _The Lighthouse_, Defoe is having a great year for movie defining monologues. Honestly quite surprising that something of this quality has been relegated to Disneys streaming platform, but I'm certainly not complaining.

Togo as a puppy steals the show and where most of the charm is. Either way, this is a charming and dramatic true story of a hard working sleigh dog. That got less credit than Balto did.

A man’s best friend. Well I love my dog films specially ones based on true events and it was a beautiful and heartwarming story. A good one from Dafoe.

P.S Togo as a puppy was adorable!

It's 2020, it's about time to stop glorifying dog mushing. Educate yourselves about the cruelty behind this.

A beautiful film that brought tears to my eyes. Willem Dafoe, Julianne Nicholson are brilliant! And the true stars, the beautiful dogs who captured my heart.

I rate this film a 10/10 because Togo never truly got the recognition he deserved, but at the same time I don’t think they needed to marginalize the achievements of Balto. He was the media darling through no fault of his own. Togo and Balto both deserve all the celebration because dogs are the truest friends humans can ever have.

Regardless they are both very good boys and deserve all the love they’re given today.

I’m waiting for the film of Laika, the first dog in space from the USSR, and I’m sure will make me cry worse than Togo lol

Named after my favorite way to get McDonald's, Togo has no time for Balto stealing his thunder. Togo basically attacks the 1995 cartoon praising the sled dog that helped deliver a vaccine to sick people in Nome, Alaska before anyone was born. Through the aid of relentless CGI, this film proves that, because Togo ran way farther, Balto didn't do shit.

Still, if this film can move a cat loving urbanite then maybe Togo really is powerful.

Julianne Nicholson and Dafoe did a great job, as expected, and Togo is lovely. The atmosphere manages to be quite tense, when necessary. But ultimately it's still a simple plot, so I can't give more than 7/10.
