Since this is coming up I thought I'd leave a comment about this. To be honest I wasn't sure where to place this rating wise but I generally enjoyed this - despite it's millennial VS boomer theme not _really_ working out so well (which I didn't know about having only read the title and seen some stills). It's not a scary movie by any means even if they like to juxtapose the genre elements in the cuts; the primary angle is the comedy which is also why it can get away with being so messy imho.

It tries to coast by on its weirdness and sassy lead, but this is still predictable and dull. You have seen better.

This satirical dark comedy is not as good as Bates' earlier works but it wasn't too bad. It's incredibly stylish and well-acted. There are some great sequences within the film and it has an interesting concept which I rarely find in horror today, but it does surprisingly little with it. The psychotic baby boomer character has this weird hate for millennials but I feel like all the hate and how he feels about his wife and her death don't really come together in the end. And of course the biggest disappointment is there's no Matthew Gray Gubler! Overall it's still somewhat entertaining but could have been done more effectively.

This is the second odd quirky movie I watched tonight. It's a bit of a satire on Boomers vs Millenials. It's also a quirky horror movie. It's not a great movie, but it certainly an interesting little movie.

Not as dark and/or evil as I expected it to be after Trash Fire (which I really liked). The (hand-)writing of Richard Bates Jr. is still present though. Although the basic elements clearly where there, I'd have loved to see some more horror / gore in this one. The film is a comedy about some pretty obvious findings from the observation of Gen Y. Also, some more exploration of Harvey's mind would have been nice. Seems to be an interesting place.

Either this movie is kid of trippy or I put too much cannabis in that last turkey burger. maybe the former, likely the latter

The lead is like this hot millennial girl who i want to hate cuz, you know, millennials right? but she is smokin hot and wears very casual hot clothes the whole time which is totally my vibe. And then her mom shows up and is even hotter with her hippie milf good looks and then the T1000 shows up ... its all very trippy
